Richelle Zimmerman

Richelle Zimmerman has joined WCWPDS as a trainer for the Worker Foundation program, designed to train and develop new social workers in the Child Welfare System. Richelle previously worked in child welfare for La Crosse County Human Services for 18 years where she developed into a trauma informed social worker.  She has diverse training experience, as she was an adjunct instructor for the Western Technical College, as a sociology instructor for 16 years and trained La Crosse County foster parent/relative care providers, also for 16 years.  In 2013, Richelle joined the Western WI Training Partnership as a part-time trainer. Training new workers in the child welfare system is energizing for Richelle and she looks forward to this opportunity.
