Darin Smith

Darin Smith is the Executive Director of the Wisconsin Child Welfare Professional Development System. In this role he is responsible for oversight and management of the system components including central office staff as well as all contracts, subcontracts and purchased services. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and his Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Darin has over 28 years of experience working within the Child Welfare field in a number of different roles. Prior to his work for the WCWPDS he was the Director of a County Social Services Department. Darin began working with the Wisconsin Child Welfare Professional Development System in December of 2011 as an Associate Director.
