The Access Response Time Changes: Talking Points for Communicating with External Partners document provides child welfare agencies with key points for conversations with community partners about the June 2026 Access Response Time changes.
Ongoing Monthly Support Sessions
These sessions are an optional space for child welfare professionals and supervisors to talk about your experiences with the changes to Access response time decision-making. This is a space to ask questions, hear from colleagues across the state, and reflect on what is going well and what feels challenging.
Agencies that participated in the Access Response Time Pilot found monthly cohort meetings with their peers to be extremely helpful while they were implementing the new approach, so the Department of Children and Families is offering a similar opportunity to everyone across the state. State staff will also be on hand to answer questions and help facilitate conversations.
Monthly drop-ins are on the third Thursday of the month, from 9-10 am. No registration necessary.
