Introduction
The WCWPDS Course Catalog includes a listing of all WCWPDS-sponsored courses and resources available for 2026, accurate as of the annual date of publication (January 2 for 2026).
Course Catalog Details
The Catalog is arranged into four sections:
- Caregiver Training for Foster and Adoptive Parents: Nurturing Connections
- Caregiver Training for Foster and Adoptive Parents: Lifelong Learning
- Caregiver Training for Youth Care Professionals in Congregate Settings
- Child Welfare Professional Trainings
Each section has individual chapters for each course that WCWPDS provides in that category. Courses are listed in alphabetical order within each section.
Each chapter provides an overview of the course along with information about the course’s primary training audiences, training modality, training hours or course length, and pre-requisites. Some courses are only available in PDS Online, some courses are only available on the WCWPDS website, and some courses are available in both PDS Online and on the WCWPDS website. Each course’s chapter specifies where the course is available.
The WCWPDS Course Catalog is available in two formats, with both having the same content.
