Merrisa Touray is a Leadership trainer and Project Manager with the Wisconsin Child Welfare Professional Development System. Merrisa worked in Child Welfare for 15 years prior to coming to the Wisconsin Child Welfare Professional Development System. Merrisa had the fortune of working with in medium size counties, as well as larger county settings, providing her insight into the challenges and opportunities that arise in both. Merrisa has direct practice experience in Access, Initial Assessment and Ongoing. Merrisa has Supervisory experience in Ongoing, as well as Foster Care, Kinship and Youth Justice. Merrisa has her bachelor’s and Master’s in Social Work from UW- Milwaukee. Merrisa’s Master’s program was completed via the Child Welfare Training Program.
