Lea Alexander joined the WCWPDS team in 2017 and serves as the Business Manager. She has more than 25 years of experience supporting organizations in higher education with prior work experience in grant management, budget, and finance management, student affairs, academic affairs, accreditation, and database development. Her interests include trauma-informed care, long-term effects of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), and applying Lean processes to educational organizations. She served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for a child in the welfare system in Cook County IL. She completed her BA in History and MS in Educational Administration at UW-Madison and has taken graduate courses in adult learning.
