Welcome
Welcome to the Wisconsin Child Welfare Professional Development Systems’ training for designees who will be temporarily stepping up to support child welfare work. In this time of crisis, it’s essential that the child welfare agency designate appropriate tasks to other professionals so that CPS Professionals are immediately available to prioritize the most urgent child welfare demands and make critical decisions. The CPS Professionals will maintain exclusive responsibility for deciding if a child is safe in your community and if not, intervening.
This training will prepare and support you in your role as a designee, where you will gather critical information and complete tasks on behalf of CPS professionals.
